Fee is $30.00 and includes a background check. The fee is non-refundable and is not prorated. Credit/debit card payments are accepted with a small convenience fee.

License expires June 30th. Beginning May 1, applicants will apply for the next July1-June 30 license period. If a license is needed between May 1 and June 30, applicant should also apply for a Provisional License for an extra $15 fee. Licenses are issued to the person, not the business, and can be used at any licensed establishment in the City.
Please note the license may take up to 30 days pending a background check.

Proof of a previous license or servers training course is required to be submitted. This requirement is NOT REQUIRED for renewal or temporary license applicants.

Temporary operator's licenses are issued to persons employed by or donating their services to a nonprofit corporation who is turn has been issued a Temporary Class B license for an event. The temporary operator's licenses are good for the duration of the event, not to exceed 14 days. Applicants are limited to two such licenses in a year.
In the summer time, the City of Delafield has many non-profits that hold events; such as the 4th of July parade, St Patty's Day party, National Night Out, etc. These non-profits are looking for people to work their events who already hold a license in the City of Delafield. Saying "Yes" would add your name to the list of people we hand out to non-profits when they need bartenders.
