[ARCHIVED] Department of Public Works is hiring a full-time Maintenance Worker

The CITY OF DELAFIELD, WI (pop. 7,193) seeks Maintenance Worker for full-time employment position. 

Duties include all public works, sewer/water utility and parks maintenance activities and associated vehicle/equipment operation & maintenance. Minimum requirements include high school graduation (or GED) or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be available for 24-hour call, weekend on-call once every 9 weeks and live within a 30-minute response time. Must have a valid WI B-Class Commercial Driver’s License. Pre-Employment and random drug testing required. Previous municipal experience preferred. Desire to provide outstanding public service is essential. Starting wage range is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour DOQ plus excellent benefit package. Opportunity for annual wage increases of up to 7.5% each year during the first three years based on performance.
