[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing - Special Assessment Golf Road

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

            Please take notice that the Common Council of the City of Delafield on April 15, 2019, adopted a Preliminary Resolution declaring its intent to exercise the police powers conferred by Wis. Stats. § 66.0703 and to levy special assessments on properties benefited by the construction and reconstruction of a public road known as Golf Road, and related improvements including installation of traffic signals.

            The report of the City’s Engineer, SEH, dated June 18, 2019, detailing the estimated cost of the proposed public works project, the estimated assessment to be levied as a special assessment against each benefitted party, and the final report of the City’s Engineer, SEH dated February 7, 2020, detailing the actual cost of the public works project and the actual assessment to be levied as a special assessment against each benefited property are on file in the office of the City Clerk, City of Delafield, 500 Genesee Street, Delafield, Wisconsin, and may be inspected on any business day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

            You are notified that the Common Council of the City of Delafield will hear all interested persons, and their attorneys or agents, concerning the special assessment to be levied against the benefited properties, at a meeting of the Common Council to be conducted at the City Hall, 500 Genesee Street, Delafield, Wisconsin, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of March, 2020.

            Those properties benefitted by the public works project are those properties abutting or having access to Golf Road between the intersection of State Trunk Highway 83 and Golf Road and the boundary line between the City of Delafield and the Town of Delafield. A map depicting the properties within the assessment area is available for inspection during normal business hours at the office of the City Clerk as described above.
