Utilities
Welcome to the City of Delafield Utility page. Here you will find information about the utility bill, how to pay it, when it comes out, what to do if you are new to the area or if you have sold your home.
Most of the City of Delafield residents have private wells and city sanitary sewer. Bills are sent quarterly at the end of each quarter. The current sanitary sewer rate is as follows:
- Local conveyance (per month): $17.26
- Del-Hart Treatment (per month): $16.50
- Total per month: $33.76
- Quarterly DUE rate: $33.76 x 3 = $101.29 per DUE
A Domestic User Equivalent (DUE) is:
- 75,000 gallons per year
- 18,750 gallons per quarter
- 205 gallons per day
A 1% penalty is applied to bills not paid by due date. Any unpaid balance for sewer charges after November 1st will be added to the real estate tax bill together with late penalties and an additional 10% administrative fee.
An ordinance is passed with several years worth of increases with the anticipation of a higher usage of water and the cost of the City providing services to increase.
Ordinance covering 2014 to 2025.
